Rusty Razor Blade
I wrote this little tool to help me test web services, general api calls, whatever. It’s compiled under OS X Leopard, but should work under Tiger as well.
It’s been 4 years since I touched the project, so I put it up on github if anyone needs it.

Custom methods would be nice, so it plays nice with Rails (GET,PUT,DELETE,POST)
I haven’t made any updated to this app in about 4 years, so I threw it up on GitHub.
So glad I googled before I wasted the time hacking together something that wouldn’t be nearly as good. It’s simple, but it does exactly what I needed. Thank you!!
Nice to have such a tool. Don’t use a Mac now, but may have use for it later.
But there are some more feature rich REST API tools that are browser plugins that are cross platform.
A tip to anyone who plans to enhance the tool from the source on GitHub – perhaps use the source code from the browser plugins (if OSS licensing permits) and port functionality into this tool. There are several that I know of on GitHub, for say, Chrome browser.
